Senior Business Analyst/Project Manager
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Business Analyst/Project Manager to support us in the evaluation, selection, and implementation of critical research systems such as ELN, lab data analysis tools, and research databases. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in business analysis and project management within a pharmaceutical Research environment, with a deep understanding of scientific workflows, data management needs, and the ability to lead projects from initiation through to completion.

Responsibilities:
- Gather and analyze business and technical requirements in collaboration with scientific, IT, and business stakeholders; translate them into clear User Requirement Specifications
- Plan and manage research IT projects, including scope, timelines, resources, risks, and delivery against agreed milestones and budgets
- Lead the evaluation and selection of research systems (e.g., ELN, lab data analysis tools, research databases), including RFPs, vendor assessments, and fit-gap analysis
- Coordinate and support system implementation, ensuring accurate translation of requirements, successful testing (UAT), and compliance with regulatory standards
- Act as a primary liaison between scientific users, IT teams, and vendors, ensuring effective communication and stakeholder alignment
- Support sample inventory management and plate-based assay workflows, including tracking, logistics, protocol definition, and data processing
- Develop documentation (user stories, SOPs, process flows) and support training and change management initiatives
- Provide regular project status reporting, documentation, and post-implementation reviews to stakeholders and leadership
What we expect:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Biology, or related fields Background in IT, Business Analysis, or Project Management is a plus
- 5+ years as a Business Analyst, including 3+ years in pharmaceutical research Hands-on experience with ELN, lab data analysis tools, IMS, or research databases Familiarity with FAIR data principles and IT projects in drug discovery
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills. Experience with Agile/Waterfall methodologies. Ability to work with cross-functional, international teams. Solid understanding of scientific workflows and data management
- Fluent English (written and spoken)
- Scientific mindset, detail-oriented, collaborative, adaptable, and able to take initiative and lead projects to successful delivery
