Scientific Data Architect

We are looking for Senior Data Architects to work with intelligent solutions allowing our customers to accelerate discovery, obtain clinical insights, and answer R&D questions. Project goal: Onboarding of approximately 50 laboratory instruments onto the TetraScience Data Platform Development of instrument parsers as required Design and development of data pipelines to support data flow and accessibility Provide solution guidance to the Systems Integrations team on Integration solution guidance between TetraScience and Revvity ELN Activities Performed: User Story creation & refinement, Raw-to-IDS, metadata attribution, instrument onboarding, parser development, testing, etc.. Note that this does not include integrations of system with ELN, NNCD, Inventory management, etc

Responsibilities:

  • Plan the most suitable solution design, partially design data solution architecture 
  • Design data engineering solutions, write high-quality documentation related to every project in each phase (POC, data discovery documentation, project implementation documentation) 
  • Design the ETL/ELT strategy, including batch, streaming 
  • Create data pipeline mappings 
  • Lead the overall discovery process related to data architecture for more than one project at a time 
  • Create high-level data architecture and explain every part of it for more than one project at a time 
  • Conduct overall data architecture implementation coordination and control for more than one project 
  • Be ready to implement some parts of the project

  • Experience in ETL/ELT, Data/Delta Lakes, DWH 
  • Solid expertise in Spark 
  • Experience in AWS data services 
  • Upper-Intermediate English or higher (B2+) 
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills 
  • Life Science domain expertise.
