Scientific Business Analyst, Omics data
Quantori is seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst with a strong background in pharmaceutical R&D and data management. In this role, you will support the standardization of cohort and omics data processes, contribute to the decommissioning of legacy systems, and drive the adoption of modern, FAIR-aligned data solutions. You will work closely with stakeholders, Product Owners, and Scrum Masters to deliver critical initiatives within a scientific research environment. Project’s time zone: EST

Responsibilities:
- Gather and analyze business requirements for cohort and omics data solutions
- Translate business needs into clear technical specifications
- Facilitate workshops, stakeholder interviews, and working sessions
- Support planning and decommissioning of legacy platforms
- Document business processes, workflows, and system designs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, UX, Data Science, Development)
- Support Agile planning, backlog management, and project execution
- Develop training materials, user guides, and conduct solution demos
- Promote FAIR data principles and ensure regulatory compliance (GDPR, HIPAA)
What we expect:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Life Sciences, Data Science, Business, or related fields
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in pharma R&D or life sciences
- Strong skills in requirements gathering, business process documentation, and stakeholder engagement
- Experience with cohort and omics data management projects
- Proficient in Agile methodologies and tools (Azure DevOps, Jira)
- Strong communication and facilitation skills across technical and non-technical audiences
- Understanding of data governance, metadata management, and regulatory standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA)
- Ability to work in the Eastern Standard Time (EST) zone
