Cloud Architect

With deep domain knowledge, Quantori combines Advanced Data Analytics, Scientific Knowledge Management, and Best-in-Class Software Engineering to speed up time to market and improve the agility of the research process. We are expanding our Python development team and looking for a Cloud Architect.
Location:
Quantori is an international team: we have colleagues who work not only from office but also remotely from all over the world.
Responsibilities:
- Define technical requirements and designs to support business requirements
- Support the pre-sales teams in the development of solutions that meet the customer requirements
- Lead costing and price models for appropriate and cost-effective solutions
- Design, develop and deploy enterprise-wide scalable, highly available, fault-tolerant, secure and reliable applications
- Participate in code reviews
- Review system performance issues
- Provide technical guidance for developers, in addition to your implementation responsibilities
- Recommend the best technology solutions and frameworks to address client needs
- Run proof of concepts
What we expect:
- A good understanding of current technology and architecture trends
- Good communication and presentation English skills (upper-intermediate or higher)
- Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Proven experience in public, private cloud architecture and designing customer and / or in-house solutions including the following Microsoft Azure, AWS, GCP, preferably in AWS
- APIs, serverless and microservices design, preferably in Python
- Experience developing collaboratively, preferably in Python
- Docker, native or managed Kubernetes
- Ability to lead in production with Terraform, Cloud Formation
- Experience in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with Ansible, Chef, Puppet
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (any vendor)
- Familiarity with various methodologies including Agile
Nice to have:
- Certifications on AWS/Azure/GCP or any other cloud, preferably in AWS
- Experience in AI/ML solutions
- Experience in healthcare or life science projects
