Application Support Engineer

We are looking for a support engineer for one of our life science projects. We develop and support a full-cycle IT platform for laboratory specimen tracking, including integration with sample preparation and sequencing equipment. Be a part of a community that helps predict rare and well-known diseases. Working schedule is flexible, work as a part of the team.

Location:

Quantori is an international team: we have colleagues who work not only from office but also remotely from all over the world.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide end-user support for assigned business applications as well as that for internal users
  • Investigate issues and apply solutions
  • Study software documentation to understand applications business and technical alignment for providing maximum support
  • Participate in QA activities of the business applications
  • Maintain the Knowledge Database
  • Collaborate with development and DevOps teams

What we expect:

  • Experience in System Administration or Technical Support (L1 or L2)
  • Working knowledge of any scripting language
  • Investigation and diagnostic skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong learning agility, curiosity and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal skills in English (upper-intermediate or higher)

Nice to have:

  • Familiarity with Life Sciences
  • Proven ability to work with SQL (Working experience is preferred but not essential)
  • Experience with cloud providers
  • Good understanding of ITIL processes
